Mother and Baby Study


Dr. Julianne Holt-Lunstad is conducting research about the relationship between the early return to work outside the home (as well as other factors that limit mother-infant contact) and mothers' blood pressure and hormone responses.

PARTICIPATION:
Looking for Mothers and their full-term infants. 
Mothers who have adopted and their adopted infants are encouraged to participate

REQUIREMENTS:
The study will consist of 4 visits:  two when the baby is 3 months old, and two when the baby is 12 months old.

COMPENSATION:
Participants will receive a $175 compensation for completing all of the visits.

Marriage Enhancement Study


Dr. Holt-Lunstad is examining whether improvements in marital quality may result in physical health benefits.
 
PARTICIPATION:
Looking for married couples interested in participating in a study that will examine health benefits and marital quality.

COMPENSATION:
Couples can earn up to $250 ($125 per person) as compensation and will receive marital therapy at no cost.
