Alexa Emmett

Alexa Emmett is a Junior in the Psychology program and is pursuing a Family Life minor. She’s from Liberty, Missouri, and loves to paint, hike, play guitar, and quote obscure movies. A fun fact about her is that she learned to swim in Thailand this past summer!

Alexa is also one of our beloved Peer Advisors in Psych Student Services, and we love having her!

Alexa has known since she was 12 that she wanted to be a child psychologist, and has enjoyed her classes in preparation for that goal. She volunteers at a respite care clinic, where she gets to hang out with kids from various backgrounds, and loves getting to connect with kids who need someone to understand them.

Alexa is planning on going on to get her MS in clinical therapy, and her PhD in developmental psychology. We are so grateful to have you on our team, Alexa!
