Ryker Erickson

Ryker Erickson (he/him) is a senior in our program from Ephraim, UT. He enjoys photography, skateboarding, and tennis. A fun fact about him is that he transferred here from Snow College–we are happy you chose to join our BYU family!

One psychology-related position that has greatly impacted Ryker is his volunteer position at the Utah State Hospital. He and his wife work with the youngest kids at the hospital as religious volunteers. “It has been a great and fun experience getting to know the kids and just having fun with them,” Ryker shared.

His advice to other Psych majors is to “not discount any opportunities that you find. When opportunities are placed in your path, move forward with curiosity and faith; it might be the right thing for you.”

Ryker currently plans to pursue a Masters of Social Work upon graduation from BYU. It is great to meet you, Ryker!
