Brooke Woolley Williams

This week’s spotlight is Brooke Woolley Williams! Brooke is a senior in the Psych major with a minor in Family Life, and she calls Highland, UT home. She is a member of BYU’s Diabetes Club and BYU’s Family Life Club. She loves hiking, boating, playing volleyball, and dancing, especially country swing dancing with her husband. A fun fact about Brooke is that she once went skydiving twice in less than a week while living in Hawaii!

When asked if there was a particular class that has greatly impacted her, Brooke shared: “Positive Psychology is an incredible class that changed my perspective on life and how I want to live it as well as interact with people and the world. There are so many great principles for intentional, engaged living and how to approach things in healthy, empowered ways.”

Her advice to other Psych majors is simple: “Have fun with what you learn and choose to focus on! You get to pursue what you're passionate about, so look for opportunities that interest you. Speak up and talk to your professors to learn from them and see what options you have to get involved and develop skills; they're real people too and can be incredibly helpful.”

Upon graduating from BYU, Brooke will attend UVU to study Marriage and Family Therapy. It’s nice to meet you, Brooke!
