Biography
Rebekka Weidmann is an assistant professor in Personality and Social Psychology. She completed her bachelor, master, and doctorate degrees in psychology at the University of Basel in Switzerland. Dr. Weidmann completed postdoctoral trainings at the University of Basel and at Michigan State University before joining BYU's psychology department in June 2024.
Research Interests
Dr. Weidmann’s research interests include studying the personalities of individuals and their relationships with other people. She has taught PSYCH 310 (Research Design and Analysis), PSYCH 313 (Psychometrics), and PSYCH 341 (Personality). Dr. Weidmann runs the Personality and Wellbeing in Close Relationships lab on campus.
