Emily Burnham

Emily Burnham of the warm and sunny city of Gilbert, Arizona is a senior in the psychology major with a minor in family life. Emily enjoys numerous hobbies, including figure skating, reading, writing, painting, and playing basketball, and she has recently started her own YouTube channel, The Missionary Approach! After she graduates, she hopes to pursue a career in marriage and family therapy so she can work with people one-on-one to help mend relationships and strengthen families. Emily’s favorite class in the psychology major was Psych 349 - Introduction to Positive Psychology. Emily explains that through this class, “not only has my ability to experience happiness more frequently increased, my testimony of the prophet and the gospel principles has been strengthened. So many of the scientific findings behind what makes us happy aligns with the teachings of prophets.”
