Kealani Browne

Kealani Browne from Honolulu, Hawaii is a senior in the psychology major with a minor in statistics, and she is also working toward a language certificate in Spanish. In her free time, Kealani enjoys roller skating, hiking, cooking food and then eating the said food, and watching movies in theaters (and looking forward to being able to do that again). She is also renovating a bus to road trip to all the national parks in the US with friends after she graduates! After she returns, she hopes to go pursue a graduate degree in clinical psychology with an emphasis in neuropsychology, hoping to use the healing processes of the brain to help people reclaim their lives from brain injury. Kealani notes that getting experience in the field is a key part of figuring out what you want to do for your career. She advises: “I would say to go for as many research/job opportunities that you can, even if you feel if you're unqualified because honestly you have nothing to lose by applying or sending that email. It's a nice surprise if you do get the job/position and it could be a life changing one.”
