Psych 410R Capstone: Teaching Assistant

Experience Description:

  • Undergraduate teaching assistant for a BYU Psychology class
  • Each student is required to take a 3.0 credit capstone course

Getting Started:

  • Complete PSYCH 307 308, 309, 310 and have 90+ credits
  • Classes in which you have excelled (typically A- or better)
  • Ask professors with whom you previously worked
  • Must be a Psychology class

Good fit for:

  • Students considering a career in family history, family studies, K-12 education, higher education, administration, teaching, or student affairs.

Exit Exam:


  • All graduating seniors enrolled in a capstone course are required to take an exit exam through the Psychology Department. This exam is not for a grade and is strictly for departmental purposes. Capstone instructors should inform their students about the exit exam requirement, but if you have any questions contact Student Support Services (1003 KMBL, psychservices@byu.edu, 801-422-5356).
