Taylor Fagan

Taylor Fagan (She/Her) is a senior in the Psych major with a minor in Family Life. Here at BYU, she is a part of the First Generation Club, which is for students who are first-gen college students. In addition, she is a part of a research team studying aggression. Outside of school, Taylor loves to work with her hands in various hobbies including doing puzzles, water painting, ceramics, and watching the most recent episode of This Is Us. Another interesting thing about Taylor is that she works on the SLC Temple renovation, photographing the stones that are removed from the Temple! Taylor would tell you that she has never taken a Psych class she didn’t love, but that her favorite is Psych 353–LDS Perspectives. She adds, “If you want to consider how your role as a therapist/researcher fits into the bigger picture, consider this course.” Her biggest piece of advice for fellow Psych students is to reach out to professors and establish relationships with them that can help you down the road by talking with them about opportunities to get involved in research, visiting their office hours, and asking lots of questions about them and their current field of study.
